The Portrait of Bandera Was Burned Outside the Ukrainian Embassy in Poland

Near the diplomatic mission building in Warsaw Polish nationalists burned the portraits of Stepan Bandera and Roman Shukhevych. Representatives of the Ukrainian Embassy condemned the demonstration that took place in the evening on March 19th.

According to the “Fakty.interia” publication, participants of the action near the embassy chanted the slogans: “Shukhevych is a murderer”, “Banderist murderers”, and also held up posters with the inscriptions “A Banderist Is Not My Brother”, “StopAntipolonism, Defend the truth”.

Representatives of the National movement, All-polish youth, and the National radical camp participated in the action.

Representatives of Embassy of Ukraine in Poland condemned the demonstration of Polish nationalists:

“The Embassy of Ukraine in Poland condemns the demonstration of some organisations that gathered on March 19th at the embassy in Warsaw and stated anti-Ukrainian propaganda,” is noted in the statement of the embassy.
