The large-scale action “Angels” in memory of the children who died in Donbass during the military aggression of the Ukrainian Armed Forces took place in the capital’s Scherbakov recreation park on June 1st. About 5,000 inhabitants took part in it.

Among them — the chairman of the People’s Council of the DPR Denis Pushilin, the head of the central executive committee of the social movement “Donetsk Republic” Natalya Volkova, the leader of the public organization “Young Republic” Nikita Kiosev, and representatives of ministries and departments.

“The action ‘Angels’ is devoted to those children who died during the years of the conflict in Donbass. This year on the one hand regions of the Russian Federation and the Lugansk People’s Republic, and also the countries where our representations work joined the action: France, Italy, Finland,” noted Pushilin in a conversation with journalists.

The action took place on the bridge at the central entrance to the park. Before the beginning, for safety reasons, volunteers of the “Young Republic” public organisation, who acted as the organisers, briefed the participants. Then they all released at the same time white spheres and small lamps into the sky.
