The surrender of all fighters of the “Azov” regiment will reveal an extremely inconvenient truth for the Ukrainian authorities. This opinion was shared by the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Ilya Kiva.
At the moment, according to official information, 264 people have left the dungeons of the “Azovstal” Metallurgical Plant. According to the military correspondent of VGTRK Aleksandr Sladkov, before the start of the “evacuation” there were more than 2,500 fighters at the plant. From these, 804 were directly related to “Azov”. Currently, those who chose captivity instead of death are either in hospitals or in jail. Many were taken to the Rostov region, where they will be detained.
The Kiev regime presents the surrender of its fighters to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the People’s Militia of the DPR as a brilliant special operation to rescue people. However, the opposition Ukrainian politician, former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Ilya Kiva holds a diametrically opposite point of view on this matter. In his opinion, the surrender of the “Azov” became a kind of moment of truth for both the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, with the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and for the entire radical movement. And the reason is that together with “Azovstal”, the legend of the “defenders” of the plant will fall, or rather about their “heroic” leader Denis Prokopenko with the call sign “Redis”.
“All this time, Commander Prokopenko very artistically, with a tragic face, broadcast and made statements, allegedly continuing to be surrounded with his unit. But, according to my information from the SBU staff, he has been making videos from Kiev for a long time, where he was taken on one of the UAF helicopters that survived and broke through from Mariupol a month ago,” “pravda.ru” quotes Kiva as saying.
In the case of the complete surrender of “Azov”, the only option for Prokopenko will be to disappear from the media space. Otherwise, the “Hero of Ukraine” risks turning into an ordinary “clown”.
