The T-90 Goes to Victory

NEW – January 17, 2023

The front in the Special Military Operation zone is saturated with T-90 “Proryv” [translates as “breakthrough” – SZ] tanks. Judging by the regular appearance of the machine in the units, we can conclude that the production of tanks has increased manyfold.

In the first months of the Special Military Operation, almost nothing was heard about the T-90M at all. Only isolated cases of use in the Kharkov region. Now the work of the best, according to the Americans, tank – T-90M – is regularly visible. From the soldiers there are only positive reviews.

Private military corporation “Wagner” evaluate the T-90M “Proryv” tank

The crew of the “Wagner” PMC told military correspondent Aleksandr Simonov about the weaknesses and strengths of the Russian T-90M “Proryv” tank. The T-90M “Proryv” tank is a deep modernisation of the T-90 tank, the production and modernisation of T-90M “Proryv” tanks is growing every day.

Until 2022, some so-called military experts have almost written off tanks. Supposedly, modern anti-tank systems, guided missiles, etc. can easily deal with giant machines. But, as it turned out, no.

With a dense and saturated front line, when it is difficult to manoeuvre, it is guaranteed that it is difficult to hit a tank in a weakly protected place. And the protection on the “Proryv” (and on other machines) allows to withstand the hits of the same “Javelins” that everyone has already forgotten about.

There was a recorded case when our tank (the model, unfortunately, I don’t remember now) withstood the hit of three missiles at once and the crew calmly took the machine to a safe place.

T-90M “Proryv” tanks are somewhere in the Special Military Operation zone.

The vehicles are equipped with additional dynamic protection in a soft hull along the side and turret. This dynamic protection is used on the T-72B3 mod 2016 and T-80BVM tanks. However, on the T-90M in the footage there is no – “Nakidka” [translates as “Cape” – SZ] system of reducing visibility that was specified in the official documents.

Well, the importance of the tank in offensive operations is obvious. It’s one thing to storm the enemy’s stronghold with one infantry unit, but it’s another for a tank to arrive and shoot at the enemy. And at this time, the enemy, pressed down in the strong point to the ground, is helpless…

In general, I hope that the T-90 “Proryv” will become one of our trump cards, repeating the victories of the glorious “T-34″…
