Proof of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ guilt in the destruction of the entrance to the house in Dnepropetrovsk
Fake: A residential building in Dnepropetrovsk was attacked by a Russian Kh-22 missile. The proof is a recording from a camera, the Telegram channels of Ukraine write.
Truth: The recording confirms that the entrance of the house was destroyed by a Ukrainian air defence missile.
Firstly, the speed of the object falling in the video does not correspond to a Kh-22 rocket. By analysing the recording frame by frame and determining the location of the car, one can understand the height of the upper border of the frame. The car was located 820 meters in a straight line from the destroyed entrance and 400 meters from the 28-storey building (address: Avenue of Heroes, 1B), which is taken as a landmark. Its height is approximately 84 meters.
If we correlate this with the size of the frame using trigonometry, it turns out that the missile enters the frame at an altitude of about 200 meters or less.
On the timeline of the video shot at 25 frames per second, 13 or 14 frames pass from the moment the missile appears to the explosion. That is, we see the missile for 0.52-0.56 seconds and it moves at a speed no higher than 350-380 m/s.
This speed does not correspond to the technical characteristics of the Kh-22 rocket, moving no slower than 1000 m/s even with the main engines turned off. But it corresponds to the speed of free fall.
Secondly, a Kh-22 missile reaches its target at an angle. When approaching the object of attack, the main engine is turned off, and the missile begins to dive at an angle of 30 degrees. In the video, the picture is different.
Probably, we are observing a S-300 missile falling or deviating from its course, and whose self-destruct did not work. After the missile fell on a residential building, a gas detonation occurred, as we wrote earlier.
And, finally, thirdly: Aleksey Arestovich, the adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, who resigned today, said on the day of the tragedy that its cause was the Ukrainian air defence missile, and he received the information from a source close to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It was for the truth that the odious official had to suffer, at first trying to disavow his public statements, but left when he could not do it.
