Earlier the head of the press service of the People’s militia of the LPR Yakov Osadchy reported that a house burned down as a result of shelling carried out by the Kiev Armed Forces against the settlement of Zolotoye-5.

The official representative of the People’s militia of the LPR Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko who arrived at the scene noted that the UAF continues practice its shelling on the front-line settlements of the Republic.

“The shelling came from the direction of Zolotoye-4 [UAF controlled territory – ed]. Incendiary ammunition was used, as well as ammunition from a BMP or an SPG. Now our representatives (LPR) in the JCCC are collecting proof of the criminal acts of the UAF and will then draw their conclusions, which will define what was used in the shelling,” he reported.

The Lieutenant-Colonel urged the world community to pay attention to the systematic shelling of the UAF on the civil infrastructure of the cities and settlements of the LPR.

“What can be said about this is that they shell in such a way that makes the heart stop. There is no life and nowhere to hide,” said the eyewitness of shelling, the female resident of the settlement Valentina.

At the same time she expressed confidence that the Kiev Armed Forces carry out criminal shelling against their own will, at the order of their superiors.

“Whether it’s their life that forces them to do this, I do not know. I do not harbour malice, those who are above are guilty and give such orders,” considers the pensioner.

The local pensioner Nikolay Promsky said that he, for the fourth year, has been involved in the restoration of power lines, which regularly sustain damage as a result of shelling.

“Two days ago it began strongly. We need peace, and not what they (the Kiev Armed Forces) are doing here. Because of this shelling its been killed (the power line) and now half the village is without light, now we will sort out the breakage and add tension,” he said.

“It is a pity that our settlement is now dying because of this war, the only desire of all the inhabitants today is that this ends as soon as possible,” added Promsky.

The settlement of Zolotoye-5 regularly suffers from the shelling of the Kiev Armed Forces. Thus, as a result of UAF shelling in the evening of November 29th two farm buildings burned down in the settlement. On November 15th the Kiev Armed Forces once again subjected the settlement to shelling from 120mm mortars, the use of which is forbidden by the Minsk Agreements. As a result of shelling the roofs and glazing of two houses, and also a power line, were damaged. On November 8th a civilian living in the settlement of Maryevka (Zolotoye-5) received a wound that was incompatible with life as a result of UAF shelling. On October 13th in Maryevka a mother and her daughter died as a result of a mortar attack on the settlement from the direction of the settlement of Zolotoye-4, which is controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
