On the morning of June 10th the UAF shelled the settlement of Trudovskoye in the Petrovsky area in the west of Donetsk, as a result of which 14 houses were damaged.

“Trudovskoye, the red zone, Urozhaynaya Street. Today at 05:00 the street was sneakily and cynically completely destroyed by the UAF. More than 50 shells were fired and more than 10 houses were destroyed. The poor grandmother hid under her bed, having covered herself with pillows – 5 shells flew over her house. The man, who was nearly again wounded, hid himself in the kitchen. Why do they shell a street where there are no military personnel, where peaceful people live?”

The locals affected by the shelling spoke about the consequences of the UAF’s actions.

“Enduring this shelling was horrible, the first time there was such shelling was on August 5th, 2016, more than 60 shells fell. I went outside and was in the street, everything flew here before the eyes. And this is how we live, and this is very frequent. Ours are silent and don’t respond, we were shelled for 40 minutes,” said eyewitnesses.

“Today, at approximately 05:00 the settlement of Trudovskoye was shelled intensely. 14 houses were damaged: 1, 3, 3a, 5, 6, 7, 8, 8a, 10, 12, 14, 16, 20, and 25 Urozhaynaya Street. They were shelled by mortars,” said the head of the district administration Maksim Zhukovsky.

Zhukovsky added that the damage caused differs from house to house. Some of them were destroyed by direct hits. Information about victims is being specified.
