The American reconnaissance and sensor system Rembass-2 was applied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces while shelling the settlement of Zaitsevo in the evening of June 15th. This was stated on June 16th by the head of the press service of the DPR Armed Forces Daniil Bezsonov.

“Last night the Ukrainian Armed Forces once again shelled the settlement of Zaitsevo,” said Bezsonov. “It is important to note that during this shelling the Ukrainian militants tested the reconnaissance and sensor system Rembass-2  given to them by representatives of the US, which allows to distinguish the outline of someone at a distance of 75 meters, and arms and military equipment – up to 350 meters.”

As a reminder, as a result of this shelling a peaceful inhabitant born in 1937 was wounded.

It should be noted that the reconnaissance and sensor system Rembass-2 was adopted by the US Army in the late 90’s. The system is designed to quickly and reliably detect a moving hidden object and determine its location.
