The US Ambassador Gave 1 Million Dollars to the Pension Fund of Ukraine

The US Ambassador in Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch on Tuesday, April 17th, transferred to the Pension Fund of Ukraine the certificate to the Oracle server system worth one million dollars.

The ceremony of the official transfer of the symbolical certificate was held with the assistance of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavel Rozenko, the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Andrey Reva, and the chairman of the board of the Pension Fund of Ukraine Aleksey Zarudny, reports the Government portal.

“I am absolutely sure that this server system provides to the Pension Fund of Ukraine tools for ensuring efficiency and flexibility of its activity and will also provide the better storage of data of over 42 million Ukrainian citizens,” noted Yovanovitch.

At the same time she also specified that Ukraine undertook important steps for reforming the pension system. In addition, Yovanovitch assured that to the US will give support in the creation of a fair and stable pension system.

It should be noted that Oracle Super Cluster M8 must provide the necessary computing power for the centralisation of pension data, their storage and processing, and also to allow to quickly carry out pension payments.
