The Verkhovna Rada Took Away 440 Million Hryvnia From Children Suffering From Cancer

The budget of Ukraine for 2019 was adopted without taking into account the needs of children suffering from cancer.

This was stated by the head of the parliamentary committee on healthcare questions Olga Bogomolets at a meeting of the coordination board between heads of factions and chairpersons of committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

“All those who voted for the budget without taking into account the needs of children suffering from cancer – we’re talking about 440 million hryvnia – are accomplices of fraud and those thimbleriggers who at night, without coordination, at the first and second reading pushed through prolongation of the law on international purchases that was supposed to end next year, knowing that there are no medicines in Ukraine,” she told.

Earlier Olga Bogomolets appealed to every deputy in a letter not to support the budget if the needs of treating children suffering from cancer is not considered in 100% fullness.

As a reminder, for Poroshnko they allocated 1 billion hryvnia for his pre-election PR, and another 700 million for the Marina Poroshenko foundation, which was converted into a feeding trough for confidants.
