Two residents of Donetsk were wounded and hospitalised as a result of the shelling of the suburbs of the capital of the DPR conducted the Ukrainian side. Such information was provided by the official representative of the Ministry of Defence of the DPR Eduard Basurin.
“Yesterday at 17:30, as a result of a mortar attack on the settlement Trudovskoye in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk from positions of the 92nd separate mechanised brigade of the UAF, a severe shrapnel wound was received by a civilian. The man was coming back home on Karnavalnaya Street when UAF shelling began, which was conducted from Marinka, presumably, 82mm mortars were used.
Because of the continuous shelling the ‘ambulance’ couldn’t arrive to the scene, so the military personnel of the DPR army evacuated the wounded to a safe area – to the bus station of Trudovskoye, where the ambulance was able to approach.
The victim was brought to the traumatology department of the central city hospital No. 14 of Donetsk. The diagnosis: shell-explosive injury, shrapnel wound to the area of the neck, right elbow joint, left side of the hip.
Also, at 20:30, from the same positions, the settlement of Trudovskoye was shelled. The inhabitant Isaeva E.V. – 1976 year of birth – received a shrapnel wound,” stated the press service.
