The military personnel of the UAF opened fire with mortars at the settlements of Dolomitnoye and Golmovsky in the northern outskirts of Gorlovka in the morning of March 31st – the day of the Ukrainian presidential election. This was reported on the same day by the representation of the DPR in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the ceasefire regime (JCCC).
Today from 07:10 until 07:40 the opening of fire by the paramilitary groups of Ukraine in the direction Novoluganskoye -> Dolomitnoye was recorded – seven 120mm shells were fired
The representation added that later in the morning, from 08:20 until 08:50, the settlement of Golmovsky came under UAF mortar fire once again – the militants fired 11 more shells.
In addition, according to the JCCC, during the period from 03:30 until 03:55 the Armed Forces of Kiev fired eight 120mm shells in the direction Travnevoye –> Golmovsky.
The head of the city administration, Ivan Prikhodko, reported that two civilians were injured in the UAF’s shelling on the village of Zaitsevo near Gorlovka.

He added that at the moment the servicemen of the DPR army are trying to evacuate the wounded, there is no possibility of an ambulance accessing the site.
At the same time, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the DPR reported that the roof of a building 3000 square meters in size was destroyed by a fire in the settlement of Panteleymonovka near Gorlovka.
The day prior, on March 30th, in the settlement of Panteleymonovka (in Gorlovka) on Karl Marx Street on the territory of the nonfunctioning plastic processing processing ‘Clean Planet’ there was an ignition. The fire destroyed 3000 square meters of a roof and 400 square meters of garbage. The cause of the fire is being established
According to the department, 20 staff members and six pieces of equipment from the Ministry of Emergency Situations were engaged in putting out the fire.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations added that on March 31st firefighters put out a fire in a private house on Kotlyarevsky Street in Torez, as a result of which a woman born in 1937 was injured. She received mild-degree poisoning from a fire, and was not hospitalised.
It was noted that there are 36 fires per day in the Republic, and 22 of them are caused by the ignition of dry vegetation.
On March 29, the UAF once again fired at the village of Zaitsevo with the use of prohibited weapons. Thanks to a developed system of engineering fortifications and video surveillance, the military correspondents of the press service of the People’s Militia of the DPR were able to observe the shelling while being in a safe shelter with the soldiers.
