The Deputy Defence Minister and defence spokesman of the DPR Eduard Basurin reported that the Armed Forces of the Republic near Mariupol spotted a Ukrainian fighter jet. According to preliminary data, the military aircraft of Ukraine was also seen by the locals.

“Yesterday in the Mariupol direction 10 km from the contact line, we recorded a flyby of a Ukrainian fighter jet, which is a gross violation of the Minsk agreements,” quotes DAN news agency from the words of Basurin.

It should be noted that in accordance with paragraph 7 of the Minsk Memorandum of 19th September, 2014, the use of combat aircraft and UAVs is prohibited along the contact line of the parties in the area of phasing-out the use of weapons of a distance of not less than 30 km, with the exception of UAVs of the OSCE.
