Ukraine’s Armed Forces Fired an Anti-Tank Guided Missile at a Residential House in the LPR

On the eve of the Orthodox holiday of the feast of the Bright Resurrection of Christ, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to fight against Donbass civilians and residential buildings with particular bitterness. Thus, for the third day from the equipped positions of the 30th mechanised brigade in the Svetlodarsk arc, Ukrainian military personnel opened fire at the outskirts of the village of Molochnoye in the suburb of Uglegorsk.

The representation of the LPR in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of a ceasefire regime (JCCC) reported that a house in the settlement of Molochnoye sustained damage as a result of shelling.

“On April 26th 2019, near the settlement of Molochnoye, damage sustained by one house at the address 4a Meretskova Street as a result of violations of the ceasefire regime by Ukrainian paramilitary groups from the direction of the settlements of Svetlodarsk across the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic was recorded,” it is said in the statement.

The press service of the People’s Militia of the LPR specified that “the shrapnel of a projectile almost completely destroyed a house roof, glazing, and furniture and household items were also damaged”.

In addition, as a result of the shelling the power line in the settlement was damaged.

During analysis of the fragments of ammunition and damage, representatives of the LPR in JCCC established that 9M113 anti-tank guided missiles had been fired.
