In Ukraine a loud “betrayal” of the Prosecutor-General of the country Yury Lutsenko has been published – a compromising photo of him from the 2000’s, when the politician was still a functionary of the “Socialist Party” of Ukraine.
The photo was published on the social network page of the user Sergey Vakula.
In the photo Lutsenko is shown in the company of representatives of the Communist Party of Ukraine, speaking at a rally in Donetsk bearing red flags. Next to him there is a dummy Kalashnikov and a fluttering flag with the inscription: “Shame on Ukrainian occupiers”.
And directly over his head it is possible to see a poster depicting Russia and China strangling the US.
“Pay attention to the ‘flag’ – ‘Shame on Ukrainian occupiers’. Didn’t it bother him? Facebook reminded how in 2003 the Prosecutor-General Lutsenko was very active with the Communist Party of Ukraine and the Socialist Party in Donetsk. I want to ask the older generation: is it indeed possible that you can so quickly change your views to the complete opposite?” asked Vakula.
In turn the Donetsk political scientist Vladimir Kornilov reminded that during those years Lutsenko actively opposed the imposition of Banderism.
“At the beginning of the 2000’s Lutsenko, at a May Day rally, agitates Donetsk residents in favour of communism,” said Kornilov, commenting on the picture. “I remember how he was at that time. He fought for to take away votes from the Communist Party of Ukraine, that’s why he tried to be even more ‘red’ than Simonenko [sarcasm – ed]. Oh how he fervently exposed Banderists back then! A little bit of time has passed and he started to sing Banderist songs …”.
It should be noted that in 2002 Lutsenko said in an interview to “Moskovsky Komsomolets in Donbass” that UPA should address to Germany for the payment of pensions and described the mass crimes that were committed by Banderists in the Rovno region.
