The Ukrainian businessman Artur Mkhitaryan, the founder of the developer company “Taryan Group” possessing the trendy residential complex “Jack House”, which includes the apartment of the son of Avakov, publicly appealed to the president Petro Poroshenko because of the raiding and extortion of the Security Service of Ukraine, Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Culture.
On the page of Artur Mkhitaryan on Facebook a video message was published, which specifies that barriers impeding the reception of coordination within the Ministry of Culture have been artificially created over the past two years and a “corruption feeding trough” was organised.
According to him, the Ministry of Culture sabotages the delivery of coordination to several dozens of construction and development companies. But, if to analyse the issued papers, such restrictions do not apply at all. The businessman emphasised that permission is received by companies connected to former and current officials.
“What does it have to do with the Ministry of Culture in general? I build houses on the territory of a former plant. This site does not belong to lands of historical and cultural heritage. At the same time, the Prosecutor General’s Office and investigators of the SBU initiate a criminal case for an alleged lack of coordination with the Ministry of Culture”
explained Mkhitaryan
According to him, such criminal cases were initiated against a bunch of companies, including the Taryan Group, due to the abuse of power and violation of jurisdiction. He also specified that the SBU has no right to investigate them, since the “fictional” charges have nothing to do with defending national security.
“Indeed, when there is martial law in the country, the SBU has nothing better to do than blackmailing private businesses and trying to yank away apartments for the purpose of addressing issues… At the same time, different people from the SBU appear, threaten to end construction, and suggest to resolve the issue for big money. The price is one million dollars or apartments in our complex”
said the businessman
According to him, the SBU uses dirty PR technologies – different media cess pits and social networks for the purpose of discrediting the “Taryan Group” company. “Today I am forced to appeal to Petro Alekseyevich Poroshenko, because I consider that my business became a victim of the blackmail of the Security Service of Ukraine. I am sure that remaining silent isn’t an option! If security officers do not cease to give businesses nightmares and to deliberately create problems, drive businessmen into a trap, then our country will have no future!” emphasised Mkhitaryan.
