The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to grossly violate the rights of civilians in the occupied territory of the LPR. The military personnel of the 10th brigade of the UAF occupied a school in Popasnaya in order to place equipment and personnel. This was reported on August 8th at a briefing by the official representative of the People’s militia of the LPR Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko.

“We continue to receive data about the violation of the rights of citizens who are in the territory under the control of the UAF. For the purpose of placing equipment and employees, the military personnel of the 10th brigade of the UAF carried out a seizure of a schoolhouse in the city of Popasnaya. At present in the adjacent territory fortification works are ongoing,” he said.

“This and other facts confirm that the command of the ‘ATO’ violates the constitutional rights and the international standards of humanitarian law of the residents of Donbass,” added the representative of the Defense Ministry of the Republic.
