A girl born in 1994 died from her injuries on the way to the hospital, said the mayor of Gorlovka Ivan Prikhodko on his Telegram channel on April 9th.
Today, at 15:50, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, using a strike drone, attacked the village of Shirokaya Balka.
The fire was purposefully aimed at the residential sector. Peaceful people who were at home at 166 Plotinaya Street when it came under fire. As a result of the shelling, civilian casualties were recorded:
“Alas. Another tragedy. The village of Shirokaya Balka. Shelling. The young girl Miroslava V, born in 14.02.1994, died. The drone dropped munitions at the address: 166 Plotinnaya Street. The girl died on the way to the hospital. And Mikhail A was wounded – a mine-explosive trauma, shrapnel wound to the neck, chest, ear on the left side and penetration wound to the lung. He’s in surgery now. I won’t upload photos. It’s difficult to look at,” wrote Prikhodko.
In addition, according to the press service of the DPR people’s militia, the Ukrainian military fired anti-tank grenade launchers and BMP weapons at Staromikhailovka, resulting in four houses sustaining damage. The outskirts of Donetsk and villages on the southern front of the DPR, in particular , Kominternovo, were also shelled over the past day.
“We call on the international community to immediately force Kiev to stop the genocide of civilians. Otherwise, we reserve the right to respond to such actions with the most severe measures,” said the head of state.
