In recent days Ukrainian nationalists have entered the data of more than ten minors who live in the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics into the database of the “Mirotvorets” website. It is mainly Cadets of the Lugansk Cossack military school named after aviation Marshal Aleksandr Efimov aged 13-15 who found themselves in the database.
Initially the “Mirotvorets” website published information about militiamen who did not recognise the coup in Ukraine and stood in defence of Donbass with a weapon in their hands, then information about politicians, journalists, and public figures started to be published in the database just because of their anti-Ukrainian statements. It is also possible to be included in the database of “enemies of Ukraine” for visiting Donbass or Crimea, which Ukraine considers to be annexed.
Now the website has started to publish the data of children who are called “victims of psychological violence and Russian propaganda”, but at the same time the administrators of “Mirotvorets” recommend to Ukrainian law enforcement bodies to consider the information of the children as a statement about the commission of a crime.

On the website, contrary to Ukrainian laws and international standards, the personal information about children is published: photos, dates of birth, home addresses and data about relatives, and also links to personal social network pages.
Ukraine thus violates the International Convention on the Rights of the Child. In the document it is said that the State Parties of the convention, and Ukraine is one of them, must ensure the rights of children without discrimination on any grounds.
“States Parties shall take all appropriate measures to ensure that the child is protected against all forms of discrimination or punishment on the basis of the status, activities, expressed opinions, or beliefs of the child’s parents, legal guardians, or family members”

But Ukrainian nationalists not only do not want to observe the rights of children – they also want to endanger them by publishing their personal data and links to their social pages.
