Ukrainian People’s Deputy Oleg Petrenko Called to Burn the Police During a Football Game

The people’s deputy from the “Bloc of Petro Poroshenko” Oleg Petrenko, who is also one of the leaders of the National Corpus party, called for violence against the police during the match between Dynamo Kiev and Shakhtar Donetsk in Kiev on May 19th.

He posted a message on his Facebook page with a call to “burn garbage”, and he then later deleted it.

“Hi from Kiev, Cherkassy garbage! No whining! We will be angrier! We will burn this garbage soon,” he wrote above a photo from the stands of the Lobanovsky stadium against the background of lit petards and flares.

As a reminder, according to the police, on May 19th during a match that ended with a victory for Dynamo (2:1) the fans lit white-blue flares and petards.

Also, this match ended in a fight on the field, after which the fans ran onto the pitch. In particular, the Shakhtar player Yaroslav Rakitsky was badly hurt.

Concerning the greetings of the people’s deputy (who is from Cherkassy) “Cherkassy garbage”, on May 19th, on the same day, the match of the last round of the first division between FC Dnipro Cherkassy and Sumy was interrupted in the 54th minute because of disorder at the score 2:2.

The ultras of the Cherkassy team run onto the pitch. The disorder was stopped by police officers, who pushed the fans off the pitch.
