The Ukrainian commandment decided to strengthen its units with nationalists from Right Sector. For their deployment in the Lugansk region the command of the 80th brigade made the decision to evict civilians from their houses.

This was stated by the official representative of the People’s militia of the LPR Andrey Marochko.

“According to our intelligence, militants from Right Sector – about 100 people – arrived to strengthen units of the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade in the area of the settlement Valuyskoye.

For their deployment in the aforementioned settlement about ten private houses were evicted, the owners were simply thrown out onto the street. Also, according to locals, cars are taken away from their owners, special preference is given to SUVs. The local police station refuses to take the statements of victims,” stated Andrey Marochko.

The official representative of the LPR militia also reported that Ukrainian military personnel in Severodonetsk – under Ukrainian control – attempted to rape a schoolgirl after a class at one of the schools had finished.

“Another egregious example happened in one of the schools of Severodonetsk. Two soldiers of the UAF from a unit of the 10th separate mountain-assault brigade came to the senior class to give a class on dealing with discovered explosives. After the class they began to show an interest in one of 16-year-old girls, and then tried to violently drag her into a car and take her away.

The girl was saved from rape only because she started to shout and call for help, which grabbed the attention of her schoolmates and frightened off the Ukrainian war criminals,” he said.

After the failed rape attempt the commander of the UAF quickly sent them to, allegedly, carry out a task.

“After the incident took place the Ukrainian military personnel tried to convince witnesses that they had no bad intentions and weren’t going to take the girl away, and also demanded to keep quiet about the incident. As it became known later, this information reached the commander of the brigade, and according to his decision both servicemen were sent to their place of permanent deployment allegedly to fulfil a working task the following day,” summarised Andrey Marochko.
