Viktor Serdyuk: A Diphtheria Epidemic Will Take a Grip of Ukraine After the Measles Outbreak

Just prior to the World Health Organisation announcing on February 28th that Ukraine has the highest increases in cases of measles between 2017 and 2018, the head of All-Ukrainian Council for the Protection of the Rights and Safety of Patients Viktor Serdyuk reported on February 25th on the NewsOne channel (a channel that isn’t as pro-war/pro-Bandera as Poroshenko would like, hence why he gives the order to fine it all the time and threaten to deprive it of its broadcasting licence) about the latest “success” of Maidan: an epidemic of diphtheria will come to Ukraine if the correct healthcare system measures are not taken.

An epidemic because of the accumulation of natural and social factors is possible. It is also forecasted that next year, or even during this year, a growth of diphtheria will begin. If we don’t prepare ourselves for this and not only don’t do vaccines – so that there is a reserve of immunoglobulins and medicines, then what will happen will happen

Serdyuk stated that the previous epidemic arrived unexpectedly, however every infectious disease has a cycle of peaks and troughs. He reminded that the outbreak of measles in Ukraine was predicted in 2014 and 2015.

The First Deputy head of the Center for Public health Viktor Lyashko said back in August 2018 that Ukraine is the leader in Europe concerning the spread of measles, which poses a big threat for the country, since especially dangerous diseases come packaged with this virus — diphtheria and poliomyelitis. In addition, experts predicted that an outbreak of diphtheria would happen in Ukraine soon due to the lack of vaccines, some of which were banned just because they were manufactured in the Russian language.

In parallel with this, the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drug Control banned the importation of a number of medicines. It’s almost as if Ukraine is being used by Washington as a testing ground for bacteriological warfare against Russia

For reference: diphtheria is an acute infectious disease that is transmitted via the air. When the diphtheritic bacterium enters the respiratory system, it produces a toxin that blocks the synthesis of protein in cells, therefore there are heavy functional and structural changes, sometimes with a lethal outcome.
