The victim several moments prior to the intensive shelling let in rescuers and film crew to the building entrance.

In the Kievsky district of Donetsk, during artillery shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the woman who let in rescuers and the Life film crew into the building received a shrapnel wound.

According to the chief of the rescue and fire fighting division No. 4 Andrey Levchenko, it is precisely this woman who saved the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the operator, having opened for them via intercom the iron door.

“We came to help people. Just to help people after shelling. And so we helped. It turns out the woman who saved us was wounded. She opened for us the building entrance,” said Levchenko.

As a reminder, the car of the Life film crew sustained considerable damage during shelling by UAF soldiers, and the operator of TV channel Pavel Chuprina received a leg wound from a shell and has been urgently taken to hospital.
