Former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych said that there is evidence of the involvement of Aleksandr Turchynov, Andrey Parubiy, and other authorities in the shootings on Maidan, reports “RIA Novosti”.

“I already have gathered evidence proving the guilt of the people mentioned in the shooting of the Heavenly Hundred and law enforcement officers on Maidan. Moreover, after my video interrogation on November 28th, I was approached by Ukrainians who provided additional information confirming the guilt of these people,” stated Yanukovych.

“We’re going to pass on a number of documents of Ukrainian law enforcement agencies, but the key witnesses are worried about their safety and are not willing to testify to Ukrainian investigators, who now lead the direct organizers of the murders on Maidan,” said the former president.

Yanukovych promised to appeal to international organizations and foreign states with a demand to hold an international independent investigation into the tragedy of Maidan.
